SUBC Congregation is made up of a group of baptized believers that profess Jesus Christ is the Son of theTrue and Living God. Also, that He is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. Further we confess that there’s One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism.

The door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
OUR VISION
SUBC Congregation is committed to serving God, and mankind by witnessing to the lost, helping widows, orphans, the downtrodden and those among who are the least of these; through love, compassion and being our brother and sister’s keeper. We as God’s servants are committed to help build up, His Kingdom on earth by showing outwardly, “Agape Love” for God with all our hearts, mind, body and soul; and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
WHAT WE DO
SUBC provides Spiritual Services, knowledge and inspiration to local residents through Bible Education,
teachings and preaching of principles pertaining to God’s Holy Words.
OUR COMMUNITY
SUBC is located within a very diverse community surrounded by DC Public Housing and a Senior building on one side, and high rise apartments and condominiums in the others. This disparity in housing and income is balanced by the church’s commitment to God’s Holy Words wherein , the Bible says “God is no respecter of person; and we’re our brother’s keeper.
FIND YOUR FAITH
SUBC stands on the inerrant Holy Words of the Bible. The unknown writer of the Bible Book, Hebrews
says in Chapter 11: 1, 6. V:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen. V:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
