SUBC is a Community-based Church that provides outreach support to its surrounding community through its Missionary Ministry. The church has two outreach "Senior Citizens Homes" which are Green Leaf in SW Washington, and Stoddard Baptist Home in NW Washington, D.C.
We provide spiritual guidance and offer free payment for indigent senior members of church, medical prescriptions. Your contribution will help this church continue its support of Seniors who have contributed to our society during their work years.
Luke 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of our Lord Jesus, he said, its more blessed to give than to receive.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Inasmuch as we're living in the midst of a PANDEMIC, its not too late for you to volunteer time for checking on Seniors in your immediate neighborhood, residential buildings, and city. Check to see if they have food, water, or medications needs.
I was taught early on during Ministry by my Teacher, the late Rev. Dr. James Butts to give of my TIME, TALENT and TREASURE (three T's).
Become a member of a local community church. Join, and help its ministries, missions and outreach programs. Communities are made wholesome and kept that way through people who are compassionate and concern about the welfare of others.
Matthew 25:20 The king reply, "I tell you, whatever you did to the least of these, brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me".
